Praying in Agreement!

Well all out there in blog world, it has been an eventful last couple of days. Last Thursday, my husband John, left our home with his sponsor to go to The Walk to Emmaus. I sent him off with a big smile and told him I hope you truly get everything out of this weekend that God wants you to. I went on the Walk last fall so I knew what my husband was going to experience over the weekend. I will be honest with you, I really wanted John to go and to experience all this weekend had to offer to him. I was happy he was going to meet fellow christian men, who were also looking to strengthen their walks with God. However, I also felt a little nervous about him going. I knew when John got back our lives would have major changes coming. I went to pick John up Sunday afternoon and I could see in his eyes I was right, changes are a coming….. We have been struggling with some major decisions in our lives and we have been praying and praying over them. I believe God has answered those prayers for us and we have been fighting the answer, well because it just might be hard to take the road God has for us. After staying up much too late  Sunday night, Monday night and talking all this through we both were saying the same thing. God has been showing us the answer to one of our major prayers to him and we have just been fighting that answer. We are now following the Holy Spirit and going to do what we need to do with this “stumbling block” we have been having and go down the path God has been leading us. I ask all of you for your prayers as this decision has not been easy, it is going to be a painful journey for us, please pray as we are bowing to God’s will he will be our strength. Another HUGE change coming about, I will be going on my first mission trip this summer. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. This mission trip is going to be in Romania. I have felt for a while I was being called to go on a mission trip and God threw the door wide open this weekend for me to be able to walk through. Again, I will ask for your prayers as I start this journey. Also, there are going to be more “changes” I will be telling you about in the next few months and I will be asking for a lot of prayers. In Matthew 18:19-20 it tells us,

19) Again, I assure you: If two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. ” 20) For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there among  them.”

So I am asking you fellow believers, please pray in agreement with us. At our home we always hold each others hands when we pray together, so we are asking, grab our hands and let’s pray!
